HT Parekh Foundation and Ekonnect invites entrepreneurs with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) or established Proof of Value (PoV) working towards promoting Circular Economy in any of the following sectors:

• Mentoring Sessions: 22, 27, and 28 December 2021 

• Pitching Session and Announcing top 6 applicants: 07 January 2022

• Field assessments and Announcing of 3 winners: 10-17 January 2022

WHO SHOULD PARTICIPATE?

• Entrepreneurs with a solution promoting circular economy in any of the three sectors presented above

• Entrepreneurs with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) or Proof of Value (PoV) that demonstrates the potential to address the challenges identified

• Applicants should be of Indian nationality 

About WastEntrepreneurs

Our economies have developed a linear model of growth ‘take-make-consume-dispose’ pattern which is solely based on production and consumption; while the concept of Circular Economy aims at keeping the products, components and materials at their highest utility and value at all times. Circular Economy goes right back to the beginning stage to prevent waste and pollution from being created in the first place making sustainable use of resources.

The program envisions to provide a platform to the entrepreneurs to implement and scale their solutions to accelerate circular economy in the country through mentoring and financial assistance in the construction, textile, and packaging sector.

Who is a WastEntrepreneur?

WastEntrepreneur is an entrepreneur working towards avoiding or reducing, recirculating, and/or reusing the resources across the entire value chain of a product or a service instead of working on an end-of-pipe solution. S/he should have developed a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) or a Proof of Value (PoV) that provides a circular approach that can be used effectively repeatedly. The entrepreneur should have an enterprise registered in India.
